Description

Fruit Femme is a passive pear-bodied vermin with an anime face and cat meows. It looks absurd at first glance, but it fills the same livestock niche as Bubblebear.

It is one of the slowest vermin in the game at 0.7 speed. When hit, it panics, runs for 4 to 6 seconds, and then settles back down. Most spawns use one of four normal palettes, with a rare fifth palette at 1%.

Fruit Femmes are especially common in Fudge and also appear in Clown, Algae, and some dungeon layers. On death they drop fruit seeds, nuts, and sometimes a style seed. Killing one can also add hate, and the chance is higher than it is for Bubblebear.

The better use is keeping them alive. A living fruit femme sheds either a dough ring or baguette every 60 to 1200 seconds, which makes a pen of them a slow but steady food source. That is why the fruit femme capsule is worth keeping once you can craft it.
